ALLOY

Governance and engineering
Combining to create something more resilient

The result of a transformation only has value if the organisation can sustain it on its own. Rugaro ALLOY transfers the transformed technology and the capacity to govern it to the client. The explicit goal is for Rugaro to become unnecessary.

What it is

The transformation is transferred. Autonomy is built.

In Rugaro ALLOY, Rugaro works alongside the client to transfer not just the transformed system but the capacity to govern it. Technology, infrastructure, performance and governance progressively become the client's ownership and responsibility.

This is not accompanying consultancy. It is a real capability-building program: the client finishes with a team that knows what it has, how it works and how it should evolve.

ALLOY presupposes that the asset has already been read or worked on. It does not enter an opaque system. It enters a system that Rugaro knows and builds on that foundation the governance structure that makes it sustainable long term.

The exit criterion is unambiguous: Rugaro leaves when the client can continue alone. Not before, not after.

The outcome

What the client inherits at the end of Rugaro ALLOY

01
Governed architecture

The system can be understood, maintained and evolved by the client's team without depending on Rugaro.

02
Internal technical judgement

The client's team has developed the capacity to make engineering decisions with real, not delegated, autonomy.

03
Aligned processes

The rituals, roles and technology governance criteria are integrated into the organisation, not imposed from outside.

04
Real capacity to evolve

The client can continue evolving the system after Rugaro leaves. That capacity does not leave with Rugaro.

SMELT and ALLOY

Two modes, one engagement

SMELT and ALLOY are not sequential phases. They are two intervention modes that Rugaro can combine, alternate or run in parallel depending on the state of the system and the client's absorption rate. At any point in the program there may be zones in SMELT mode and zones in ALLOY mode. The boundary between what Rugaro works and what the client already governs shifts as the engagement progresses.

SMELT

Rugaro takes direct technical responsibility. It works in the critical zones of the system. The client observes, participates where possible, and receives the result. The burden of the transformation is on Rugaro.

See SMELT
ALLOY

Rugaro transfers responsibility progressively. The client takes over, learns and governs. The burden moves to the client in an ordered, deliberate way. The explicit goal is for Rugaro to become unnecessary.

Rugaro ALLOY is designed for each context

The scope of Rugaro ALLOY depends on the state of the asset, the client's team and the starting point. No two programs are alike. The first step is understanding the scenario.
